Cash Services comprises a Steering Group and five core subsidiary groups. In addition to these standing committees, regular Affiliate forums convene to support engagement with the wider stakeholder community.
The Note Management Group is responsible for the collaborative aspects of banknote circulation in the UK, including availability, stock, trading plans, and forecasting.
The Coin Management Group is responsible for the collaborative aspects of coin circulation in the UK including availability, stock, trading plans, forecasting and integrity.
The Risk Management Group is responsible for reviewing the industry risk profile, mitigating risks, development and maintenance of the Cash Risks Register, Cash Crisis Management process and annual physical threat assessments.
The Project Management Group is responsible for the management of collaborative cash projects in the UK, related to any aspects of the cash circulation process, which are beyond the scope of the Note Management Group or the Coin Management Group.
The Member Group is responsible for representing the views of all members not represented on the Steering Group. This may include Retail Banks, CViT organisations and any commercial note issuer who is not already represented.
The Affiliate Forum is responsible for promoting effective and productive dialogue with the wider cash community, participants in which may not eligible for full membership.
